About MeI have over 30 years of healthcare experience in the areas of billing, coding, compliance, education and software development. As a former Administrator for both a large health system and billing company in the Detroit area, I currently work as the Executive Director of a large physician organization providing compliance and education services to over 500 physicians in the Detroit area.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Physiology from Michigan State University and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Michigan. I am an AAPC Fellow holding certifications of Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) through the Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). I am also an AAPC Approved Instructor. I was a founder of and former President of the Novi, Michigan chapter of the AAPC. I am currently an advisor for the Novi, Michigan chapter for the 2020 AAPC year, and I am the chairperson for the AAPC Documentation Committee. |
